Coconut Plantation

Coconuts are part of daily life here;
not just as food, but as a way of living with the land.

If you’re up for it, you can join us in the fields: planting, watering, feeding the soil, and tending to the trees. Every 45 days or so, we harvest the coconuts by hand, and if you’re here at the right time, you can help us carry them in, peel them, and sort them for use.

There’s always something to do:

Try your hand at de-husking

Learn how to make coconut milk or oil

Weave with coconut fronds the old way

You’ll also learn how every part of the tree is used; the trunk, the leaves, the husk, the shell. Nothing goes to waste. It’s not a workshop, it’s just daily life. And you’re welcome to join in.
