Our Work to Stay program is for guests who’d like to spend more time here and contribute to the land and lodge. It’s not a job, and it’s not a tour, it’s simply a chance to be part of the daily flow, lend a hand, and learn along the way.
For those who want to stay a little longer and get involved in something real.

There’s always something to do:
We’re about 4 km off the main road, down a quiet dirt track. You can explore the area on foot or by bike, and we have a tuk tuk to take you into the nearby village (15 minutes) or to the main town of Puttalam (about 45 minutes).
You’ll stay in a private room and share meals with us and the team; simple, home-cooked food, often prepared over a fire.
